Screen printing is an amazing technique that uses a mesh to bolster an ink blocking stencil. The mesh contains the design
that is to be imprinted. The blank areas are covered by impermeable material ensuring that the ink falls only on the area that has to be printed. A squeegee , a smooth rubber blade is run through the mesh for controlling the flow of the ink on the surface. At a time, only one color is printed which means multicolored images require several screens. Does that sound too complex? Not for our Screen printing experts
at Thrifty Threads. We specialize in Plastisol, Water Based and Discharge based screen printing.
